Time for a facelift

Seeing as I have returned to Blogging after such a long break I thought it was time for a bit of a refresh! So some refreshing happened yesterday and I am aiming to make a couple other changes over the next few weeks.

Hopefully it will make it a bit more user friendly, and obviously a bit easier on the eye ;)

Let me know what you think?

:D

And I shall leave you with a pretty picture :D

Sorry it has been a while.

Hello!

Just a quick post today to say sorry it has been a while since I updated you all. (Last June was the last post).
A lot has happened in that time, I have ended one relationship and started another, moved roles at work, been promoted, moved stores, moved house to Southampton, moved house back to Bristol again, been to Canada for my Grandfathers funeral, helped my parents move to Canada, got a new job, been promoted, and now need to look for another job as this contract is coming to a close.

I have to be honest and say that my love of Trollbeads has be waning, without the discount I received from working in a jewellers and then with varying amount of pay cuts/ expenses I haven't been able to keep up with buying beads at the rate I used to, or would like to, or even one a month. To be honest I had come to a point in my life where I would rather buy a tin or paint, or put the money towards furniture, or the garden, or my ever growing Amazon Wishlist!

I also think that with all the changes I have been through, the thought of beads has been on the back burner, they are beautiful, but also expensive. I still enjoy taking them all out (by tipping them onto the floor usually) and playing with (sorting) them, and have been really blessed to still be given them as gifts.

AND THEN WORLD TROLLBEADS DAY HAPPENED. And this secrecy around the bead, the elusive limited edition bead. I think that it feels more like Trollbeads again with a bit of secrecy, and fun. mix that with being settled and happy and my passion has been reignited - for something I truly love and enjoy, buying/reading about/ playing with/ looking at/ talking to anyone that will listen.

I am really very lucky to have such a large collection already, so will be putting that to use over buying more and more beads (although I do want them all one day!) I will definately be buying limited edtion beads though, as a lot of these have slipped past me in the last year!

So now I feel I should thank everyone who has stuck with me, in life, and on the blog, and make an effort to keep you all updated with my collection, as I used to collect at a rate far faster than I could blog about I still a few things to share. I want to take this whole thing back to where I started and share my excitement with like minded folk, and turn it more into a conversation between collectors.

So, I think we start with a bit of a tidy and revamp, and then see where this adventure takes us this time! :D

Thanks again,

Mike

Some things never change, and this has become a right ramble... sorry!
